The Hazelnuts are dropping so we are beginning to gather them and will then lay them out onto racks to dry in the hot Marbrough sun for about a month. We have several varieties and they all have to be sorted into different sizes so that we can crack them easily. Some varieties don't blanch when they are roasted so they are no good for the Pesto - but they eat just as well !!

Watch this space for when we'll start the markets again, with maybe some different types of pesto !

Some photo's of the Tour group we have here. This one is the Molesworth Tour company.

We give them a tasting of the different varieties we grow, then a tour of the olive grove and the hazelnut orchard and the gardens. Then a light lunch in a relaxed atmosphere.
